BACKWASH was formed a few years back at school, as friends just making a noise, and was fuelled by their unrelenting passion for everything Punk Rock. During the last two years the lads from Worcester have gone from strength to strength delivering some of the most energetic live and recorded performances seen in a long time. Not only have they built an enormous following in their own locale, but have now made fans and friends throughout the UK and into Europe.
With a helping hand from Jim Turner, producer of SECOND MONDAY, KEIKO and TRIBUTE TO NOTHING releases, the band spent the early part of 2007 at 'The Waiting Room Studios' where they honed this exciting slab of raw energy onto record as their outstanding full length album.
The band feels this is their best work to date, and we whole heartedly agree. Inspired and driven to write music for its own sake rather than in support of the latest hairstyle, they will be joining other like-minded bands across the UK, Germany, Austria and Belgium to tour during the summer and autumn months.
