Based in Exmouth, band members Ed, Alex and Matt formed a band at school after sharing the same passion for playing music which was slightly different to typical teenage pop punk school bands. Listening to bands like At The Drive-In and Deftones has influenced the way their songs are written - you can feel the passion and energy coming across on the CD which is something they love to achieve. The band describes their music as Progressive, Experimental, Dynamic Post-Hardcore, and you can't get nearer to it than that! The title of the E.P. refers to how people tell themselves what they want to hear because it can be easier than facing the truth. Lyrically the songs document different stages and aspects of personal situations, but not necessarily those of the band members. Highlighted by memorable guitar riffs, superb vocals and chunky sounding drums this has to be a release that will catch everyone's attention.
