The Day I Snapped formed in late 2000.
The current line-up is: Alan Easton (lead vox/guitar), Richie Bradford (lead guitar), Craig Brennan (drums/b-vox) and Chris Gordon (bass/b-vox). Previous contributors along the way were: Alan Murray (lead guitar), Geoff Crowther (bass), and Thomas Moonan (bass).
The Snapped have gradually worked their way towards their goal, notching up some good shows on their way, from their first with King Prawn at King Tuts in early 2001 to the more recent excitement of playing the SECC with American giants The Offspring.
Over the few years the Snapped have been together, various recordings were made, all produced and engineered by Chris. These recordings helped the band develop and they were rewarded with airplay on Radio 1, including a live session on the Vic and Gill show in 2003 and also with the opportunity to take part in some great shows, T In The Park 2002 being one of the highlights.
The most recent reward for the 'Snapped' came when they were signed up to Lockjaw Records for their debut album release. And now the party begins!!
