IGUT formed in 2002 in Zagreb, Croatia, and since then have developed their own style of black rock: brutal guitars, heavy drumming and dark lyrics all layered together to create a wall of intense negativity and strength. Their varied influences include: Converge, Opeth, Mastodon, Neurosis, All, Descendents, Led Zeppelin.....and surprisingly, Johnny Cash, and they have taken inspiration from these and others for their debut album for Mother Should Know Records. Recorded and produced in Zagreb by Ivan Jakić, 'Eternities' is a call to arms, relentless and uncompromising. IGUT are determined to bring their music out of Croatia where they have received massive support on Student Radio and also featured on ZI Croatian TV Channel. For the last few years they have been firm favourites on the Festival Circuit in Croatia, and Slovenia supporting many well-respected bands on the Eastern European leg of their tours.
