NO KILTER formed in Glasgow in 2005 with the aim of producing interesting music that blends the intensity of punk with the complexity of math rock and was fun to play live. Strongly influenced by the DIY ethic and being inspired by bands such as Don Caballero, Fugazi, Faraquet, At The Drive-In and Drive Like Jehu, their debut EP 'Galore Nation' is energetic exciting music which reflects the atmosphere of their live shows. Having just completed a tour with Mutiny on the Bounty in August 2007 and shared the stage with Don Caballero (Touch And Go Records), The Smackdown (Sweden), Fickle Public and Russian Circles (USA) they are well known on the gigging circuit in their native Scotland. Now after numerous Scottish reviews; playing the Dundee vs Glasgow festival; and being featured as one of The List Magazine's New Favourite Bands they are bringing NO KILTER sounds south of the border.
