Formed four years ago, after playing together in the Israeli Air Force Band followed by a stint in a rock n' roll band singing in Hebrew, REALEAF were inspired to write 'Possibly Not' and travel across Europe. Now released on their own independent label in Israel, the band has hooked up with Lockjaw Records for this and future UK and European releases.
While the band still considers their base to be Holon in Israel, they relocated to Ireland in 2007 followed by Germany and are now planning their move to the UK during the summer 2008.
'Possibly Not' was recorded at Hamaklet Studios, Holon with additional recording at Boten Studios, Ashkelon, both in Israel, and takes influences from Mozart, Franz Liszt, Brian Eno, Jim Morrison, Syd Barret, King Crimson, Elliot Smith, Beck, Traffic, Radiohead, The Beatles and reflects the enormous interest for Prog Rock at the moment. The band is enjoying exceptional reviews wherever they play throughout Europe.
Their musical ability is exceptional and they frequently improvise at their live shows to create "pure music with no walls of right or wrong" which the band believes is the most honest and personal moment they can share with their audience. Possibly Not is an exceptional album!
