They have taken influences from Foo Fighters; Velvet Revolver; A Perfect Circle; My Chemical Romance; Ignite; Metallica and The Haunted for the writing of 'Boyhood Survival Kit', which tells of the struggles, indecisions and dramas of growing up. The semi-conceptual album focuses on a boy who loses his mind when he suffers yet another rejection and explores how this can affect a person's mental state.
