2004 saw the release of the critically acclaimed debut EP by Second Monday, "Re-writes Won’t Cover Up” – Since then College has finished, a new member has augmented the band’s sound, the album is written and recorded, and the Winchester boys are set to take on the world.
Formed in their hometown a little over 5 years ago you wouldn’t expect such a maturely constructed yet complex album to come from guys still in their late teens. Touring the flea pits of the UK, and taking in a short tour of Germany certainly has matured their outlook on life and music, and has enabled them to record a blisteringly great album.
‘Imagery’ lifts your spirits as James’s contrite and passionate vocals intermingle with the force of Will’s guitar and virtuosity of Simon’s keyboards. Second Monday has produced a must have album, that has to be included in everyone’s collection.
"If you want to find a truly great band buried deep in the underground and making genuinely groundbreaking music, congratulations - you just did." Subba Cultcha
