Following on from the success of their debut release, BACKWASH have matured and produced a brilliant debut album for their second release on Lockjaw. Radio One’s music site described them as being ‘tighter than Kylie’s hot pants’ and they have worked during the last year to produce a high octane mix of melodic punk, post-hardcore and good old fashioned pop sensibility on ‘Circus, Circus’. The band feels this is their best work to date. And we agree whole heartedly. Inspired and driven to write music for its own sake rather than in support of the latest hairstyle.
