Where are the musical lines of German based DISTANCE IN EMBRACE to be drawn? Their music basically consists of melodic punk rock tunes mixed with brutal metal riffs. Are they sounding like another ready-made emocore band? Not even close! Whenever you get the slightest idea that DISTANCE IN EMBRACE might be on the verge of sliding into any cliché of a genre, the band strikes out for a sweeping blow which leaves you coming back for more.

So far in their career DISTANCE IN EMBRACE has succeeded in delighting audiences all over Germany with their uncompromising rock show, with performances at huge festivals in large cities to club shows in small villages. Support shows have included Raised Fist (Sweden), Ignite (US), Satanic Surfers (Sweden), With Honor (US), Useless ID (Israel), Days In Grief, Fire In The Attic, Misery Speaks, Narziss, etc. They have surpassed their 200th concert long ago. This summer sees the band visit the UK for their first tour.
