Everything On Red come out of Staffordshire with the intention to make you smile, make you dance and make you think.
A punk rock band with a bit of difference; Everything On Red have managed to integrate a synth into their writing with ease. Not quite the shoe-horned affair it is with many protagonists of this usually gimmicky genre.
The lads have cherry picked their influences from various sources; bands like Cursive, Brand New and Minus The Bear have all helped them on their way. However such is the unique sound of the band it’s impossible to say they have ripped anyone off.
Rotator is the band’s first full-length after their first self-titled EP gained excellent press in 2008.
The album was recorded in two parts at Prism Studios in Stoke and Outhouse Studios in Reading.
After a successfull tour earlier this year with Screwloose the band are getting back on the road in Autumn and gearing up for another tour with Screwloose in 2010.
Full of triple pronged vocals, frantic verses and massive hooks that just beg you to stand up and sing along. All the elements of a great punk rock band are there, its not going to scare off the purists but Everything On Red bring enough to the table to be stood up and be counted.
