Spring..Yes/No/Maybe

..........................................................................................

Awesome news today, like best ever... I went to the shops in jeans and a t-shirt without being cold.

Spring is nearly here, then casual BBQs and riverside drinking can recommence with great gusto!

..........................................................................................

Right lets crack on with a little round-up of what's been going on...

Shirukume - Speaking In Colours has arrived in the office, it looks amazing and we will have some images up of it very soon and will send off the pre-orders early next week when the posters are back from the printers...on that note the poster can be viewed here, and get your pre-order in now because the pre-order and poster combo is getting close to selling out even before they have left the printers!

There is a new Pack Of Wolves song up at the top-right of the page from their up-coming album A Nice Black Suit, I've heard it in it's entirety and I can vouch for it being stunning. That'll be out in the UK on April 26th and May 21st in Europe through our new friends at 7hard (more details about them very soon) They also ahve a sparkling new myspace page and will have new merch very soon.

We are pleased to welcome I Defy to the LJR/MSK fold and more info on them can be found over on the MSK website here, or on their myspace page.

...............................................................................................................................................

Pretty sure that's it for now, but new merch is coming very soon (like in the next month) which I for one am pretty excited about.

Cheers for now

LJR

Tours, Dog Shit and New Releases
..............................................................

Hello, it’s a pleasant Friday here (windy as hell, pretty cold) and looking forward to kicking back for the weekend. Just a quick one to remind you to check out the tour dates as there are loads of shows coming up as well as we are pleased to say that two of our Austrian bands; Defcon and Pack Of Wolves should be hitting up the UK in May all being well so more news on that will come.

Right now Worcester boys Fights And Fires are tearing up Europe and by the sounds of it having an amazing time.

Also next week we should have a couple of pretty big announcements including perhaps a new Lockjaw/Mother Should Know band... keep your eyes open for that.

Bull See Red have their creases ironed out of their 2010 plans. As well as the Lockjaw split release, they will have 2 Eps coming out entitled Chinatown 1 and 2 the first of which will arrive in April and the second will be later on in the year. These will be available to buy from iTunes and very limited numbers will be available from the shop and at shows. The street date for that is April 19th.

As well as that BSR have a new live video recorded at the cavern in Exeter, check it out on the right of the page.

Your last chance to hear a radio 1 session track by Rat Attack is this week on the radio 1 punk show so check that shit out here also take the opportunity to request them for Reading and Leeds Festival 2010 by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Next week if you have the chance check out Shirukume who are on tour with the mighty Malefice check out the malvernshire lads over at the Mother Should Know website or on their myspace page

Also have a gander at the new releases coming up in April, available for pre-order now.

Loads more news and interesting tosh next week.

Finally I would like to talk about shit.

Ok so lately I've been having some issues with dog poop so I devised this letter as a possible remedy.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope this letter finds you well and in fine fettle.
I would like to point out from the get-go that if you do not own a canine or any other sort of publicly walked beast, or are regularly left in command of such an animal then you can disregard this letter and do with it what you wish.
Perhaps it could be confetti at a dear friend’s wedding (assuming you have such things).
Anyway it appears I have digressed into inwardly questioning the state of your social life.

To the remaining readers I would like to address you and your attitudes towards the faecal matter squeezed from the rear-ends of your over-pampered pets.
For me in theory the pavement is a safe place to walk. It is away from the traffic and other lethal objects likely to impede my daily commute from door step to office. But wait, what’s this little stink log lying waiting for me in the thoroughfare? Oh yes this is the calling card of a selfish pet owner. Every time I walk into town now I need the flexibility and deft skill of an Olympic gymnast to traverse the nasally offensive obstacles.
I feel when I arrive at my destination I should strike a pose in celebration of a successful dismount and un-soiled trainers, before taking a bow in front of the less fortunate prizing the tiny stinking nuggets from their footwear.

So what do we you ask? Well I can see two options.
Option 1 is that you take a little bag with you and take some social responsibility instead of forcing everyone to revel in your little prince/princesses steaming shite. Or…
Option 2 is I knock on your door with my hired African elephant (I have not researched the availability of such an animal yet so it may be a smaller eared Indian elephant so accept my apologies now if this is the case) and let it enjoy your carpet as perhaps an overweight child might enjoy the facilities at an all you can eat ice-cream restaurant.

I leave the decision completely up to you.

Thank You for you time.

A concerned (and handsome) neighbour.

................................................................................

Hugs
