Lockjaw Records was founded in 1997 by brothers Ben, Jim and Sam Turner. First releases included great albums by underground luminaries such as New York’s UNSANE, California’s ZEN GUERRILLA, and a compilation track from SHELTER.

Lockjaw is also proud to lay claim to releasing the first ever recording by the now mighty MUSE on the ‘Helping You Back To Work’ compilation Volume 1.

Now after more than 12 years of releasing ground breaking music, it is still our aim to release for new raw talent alongside established bands in an attempt to bring something different to music fans through our global download and CD distribution network.
