Hailing from Blackburn, Lancashire, Bastard Of The Skies formed at the beginning of 2006 to play loud, heavy sludge. Since then the band have bludgeoned audiences across the UK along with bands such as Baroness, Kylesa, Today Is The Day, Jucifer, Truckfighters and many more.

With their self titled debut album released autumn 2008, through Meltdown Records there were various tour following the release but the band then came up against line-up problems all over the place hence the two year delay. However finally the band have managed to cement a solid line-up and recorded their new album Ichor! Ichor!

The album was recorded by front-man Matt Richardson in his Full Stack Studio in Blackburn. It was mastered by James Plotkin who was responsible for Sun o))) Isis and Pelican. They have tried to capture the bone-splitting live performance by spending a lot of time and effort in the studios making it as heavy as possible. They have certainly achieved that!

The album is influenced by bands like Melvins, Unsane, High On Fire which has turned them onto the doom and sludge tendencies they sport today. The band are on tour now.
