What? I Defy are a five-piece metalcore leviathan, featuring ex-members of Eternal Lord, Romeo Must Die, Machine Made God and As Winter Burns White. Despite having only formed in late 2009, I Defy managed to churn out a stunning 9 track debut EP in May 2010, influenced and shaped by the themes of unstable households and broken families.

The Summer of 2010 brings new and promising things for I Defy, as they travel to Dusseldorf, Germany on 11/07/2010 to record a one-off track with prominent producer Sky Van Hoff. Sky Van Hoff has been a member of Machine Made God (Metal Blade) and has helped compose and record the latest release for German metal titans Caliban. He has also been notably working on the new Kreator album.

This one-off track is tipped to be titled "Never-Ending Lie", and continues to follow the themes of broken family, destruction and emotional neglect. A release has not yet been penned for the track, but it is sure to be a solid follow-up to what was already a spectacular debut.

Following the recording of their new track, I Defy will go on to play the Summer Shake on 16th July in Alte Druckerei, Luddenscheid, with Postmortem Promises, Beast War Returns and more. The following day (17/07/2010) also sees I Defy playing Die Stadtmitte in Karlsruhe, Badenwurt, with Black Xion.
