What? Pure Soundart was formed in 2005 after a collaboration between Dominique Marcel Iten and Fabian Müller who were playing together in the band Drive.
Influenced by ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Sparta and At The Drive-In, they like to "live the show and the moment" in their live performances.

In 2008 they released their debut UK release 'Emo Is Dead' and now Pure Soundart are back with their first full-length album Bye Bye Beauty. After their cracking debut EP ‘emo is dead’ was released on Lockjaw in 2007 the band have been away and written an incredibly complex and exciting album. The band have managed to create something exciting, full of rage, sadness and beauty. They have achieved a heavy sound without resorting to screaming just using powerful vocals and huge guitars.
The album is influenced by their own personal experiences most of them not good ones, this comes through in the songs and the words but it's never depressing, haunting at times…yes.
The album was recorded over 10 long months, which does help explain the epic and well polished finish this album has. You can easily get lost in this album, it embraces you from all sides and doesn’t let go. Pure Soundart are set to be touring throughout the UK and Europe late August onwards this Summer.
