What? Rat Attack are a 4 piece Punk/Hardcore band from Exeter, they have been playing together for 2 years now.  They have received high praise from champions of the industry such as Mike Davies from the Radio 1 Punk Show where they have been on heavy rotation and picked up interviews and a session at the BBC's world famous Maida Vale Studios.

Rat Attack have their influences, but have decided to not slip into the same patterns as their peers. Taking cues from bands like Refused and Comeback Kid they have a sculpted something which they hope will be instantly recognizable as Rat Attack. Not just your simple full pace hardcore. It’s catchy without being poppy but still heavy as a tonne of bricks with a hangover.

Their debut EP 'This Is Art' was received with critical acclaim from UK press, followed shortly by the release of a video for "The Southern Lights", Rat Attack are "flying the flag for UK hardcore" - RockSound magazine.

Rat Attack have toured around France and Belgium with The Computers and regularly play with the big-hitters from the hardcore world including; H20, Madball and Crime In Stereo. Unfortunately, the band have taken a brief break due to searching for a new vocalist. They are still playing shows throughout the Summer, and you can be sure that they will be hot back on the UK club circuit now they have the new singer installed. Watch out for fresh material later in the year.
