Originally from in Barrow in Furness, South Cumbria, (not the world's hot spot for cutting-edge bands) and now based in Leeds; Nanas Revenge has never regretted the move across The Pennines.
After almost six years of gigs around Cumbria, they now have a well established fan base in their new home territory of Leeds and are taking their Propaghandi influenced sound out to a much wider audience with their debut release on Lockjaw Records.
The respected Cottage Road Studios, Leeds (Kaiser Chiefs, 4ft Fingers) was their first choice when recording 'Man Down' and the input from Andy Hawkins on production and Matt Peel mixing and mastering has produced a positive, energetic sounding EP that sums up their fun attitude to their music.
Nanas Revenge played Guilfest 2007 (Supergrass, Squeeze, Madness headlining) and have shared the stage with numerous bands: Failsafe, Random Hand, Captain Everything, Jesse James, 4ft Fingers to name a few.
Still making reference to their early skate punk sound but now using their influences (Propagandhi, Wilhelm Scream, Rise Against, NOFX, Thrice, Ignite) to bring their sound forward and communicate their fun attitude to music to an ever expanding appreciative audience.
