Based in Bern, Switzerland, parties break hearts are forging ahead despite being formed for only a year. Already, they’ve played the Openair Eichlerhuus 2007 with The Real McKenzies and Müh Fest 2007 with Insane and Estate; toured with The Flatliners, The Underwater, and The Idoru; and have recently featured on the ‘Rockspotting’ programme for Couleur 3 (Swiss national radio). Their debut album ‘life is too short to dance with ugly people’, was recorded at Mondaine Recordings (Lucerne) by Tobtob and mastered by Marco Jencarelli at Soundfarm and they feel it is a genuine uncluttered sound that defines the band: a complete expression of where they are musically at the moment. Having taken influences from Story of the Year, Lost Prophets, Reuben, Jimmy Eat World, Funeral For Friend to name but a few, the band has evolved and progressed and is now receiving great feedback from their explosive live show. |
