Based in Zug Switzerland, Pure Soundart was formed in 2005 after a collaboration between Dominique Marcel Iten and Fabian Müller who were playing together in the band Drive.

Influenced by ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Sparta and At The Drive-In, they like to "live the show and the moment" in their live performances and have now launched their debut UK release 'Emo Is Dead' to coincide with a European and UK tour during March 2008. Their music is intense, heavy, wild and unrestrained very much a band-led expression of their feelings and experiences. With a large following in their home country Switzerland, the time was right to take on the rest of Europe. With their debut UK release, "Emo Is Dead" they aimed to write dirty, ass-kicking, honest music to make the listener think ........... music to make people happy and give them hope. On tour in the UK during February/March 2009
