Since January 2003, The Why Not? have developed their sound and the result is a compromise between rage and melody with contrasting lyrics and vocals which pay homage to their numerous influences: The Ataris, The Get Up Kids, Jimmy Eat World, Foo Fighters, The Juliana Theory, and Funeral For A Friend.

Based occasionally in Bologna, but usually spread the length and breadth of Italy they have shared stages with Vanilla Sky, /Raw Power/ The New Story and will be playing shows around Italy during the Autumn to support the release.

'Lifetime Calendar' was recorded in Red Angela Studios, Bologna when the band joined Martino Buttieri for the production and mixing and includes guest vocals from Sandro Amabili (Forty Winks) on 'Porcelain'.

Considered as an alternative rock band with strong roots in the 90's, they use a fusion of punk/rock sounds with a smattering of something heavy and serve it up in their own special Italian style of pop punk-rock which they are hoping to bring to the UK early in 2009.
