Biography

Wake The Dead is a Punk Hardcore band from Marseille, South France, mainly influenced by bands such as COMEBACK KID, STRIKE ANYWHERE, HAVE HEART.

After 90 shows around Europe, Wake The Dead have had the opportunity to share a stage with such bands as:

No Turning Back, Cruel Hand, A Wilhelm Scream, No Use For A Name, Death by Stereo, No Friends, Nine Eleven, Fights and Fire, Lasting Traces, In-Sane…

The band released their first album in February 2011 (DTTH Rec / France, Culture Punk / France, Bad Mood Rec /Switzerland…), and have been working on a new EP to be released in the beginning of 2012.

More over, members of Wake The Dead are involved in their local scene with their associations CHAVANA and BAD MOOD ASSO. As real life activists, they organize various Punk and Hardcore shows, always maintaining that DIY and

underground spirit to promote the music.

In March 2012 they will release Meaningless Expecttions through lockjaw records.
