El Moono release 'White Gold'
Brighton's El Moono release a brand new single today!
White Gold tackles issues around institutionalised segregation of race and how ethnic minorities face huge injustices in the Western world especially. The song highlights how the UK is not innocent and an “ignorant empire”, to quote the song itself, due to years of colonialism and oppression that have led to the racism we see in modern society.

With the bone-shaking new record 'Temple Corrupted' coming on 5 February 2022, alt-rock quartet El Moono are a force to be reckoned with. Having signed to Lockjaw Records, the band have set the bar high with ‘Temple Corrupted’; a dissonant musical explosion of mental tension and release. Exploring themes of human self-destruction and depression, the poignant narrative is set to "a blizzard of grungey riffs, interspersed with wah-spiked freakouts" - Kerrang!
