El Moono sign to Lockjaw Records & release new single 'Forced To Smile'

Brighton's El Moono release a brand new single today!

Forced to Smile is about how mental health problems can be caused by a societal expectation to always be ‘happy’ - the song contains themes of the sad clown paradox. This is more focused on having to be happy with what you’re given from yourself and the government - this ties into the record’s name - ‘Temple Corrupted’ being a reference to one's mind as a temple and the corrupted temple that is our governing body. This ties in with Laws against the LGBTQI+ community and every minority especially that suffers from the western world.

With the bone-shaking new record 'Temple Corrupted' coming on 5 February 2022, alt-rock quartet El Moono are a force to be reckoned with. Having signed to Lockjaw Records, the band have set the bar high with ‘Temple Corrupted’; a dissonant musical explosion of mental tension and release.
