Get to know Belvedere - Ryan's mixtape
Let's get to know the new members of Belvedere a bit better... Starting with their taste in music!
Ryan's mixtape
- Refused - Refused Are Fuckin Dead: If you listen to any modern heavy music, Refused have influenced them whether you know it or not
- The Bronx - Shitty Future: Like gettin throat punched in a circle pit but then picked back up again.
- Closet Monster - Smells Like Revolutionary Spirit: This record changed the way I thought about a lot of things in life and had me pumping my fist in the air shouting along.
- Attack in Black - Cut and Run (EP Version): the new version on marriages is part of a fantastic record that this would not fit with, but damn I love throwing this OG ripper on - instantly pumps me up.
- Propagandhi - Refusing To Be A Man: You can’t help but be a better more educated person after propagandhi’s hooks and riffs draw you in while they reprogram your brain to be less of an asshole.
- Protest the Hero - She Who Mars The Skin Of Gods: I was so pumped for this album that I was always asking Megatunes records when they were gonna get it. They had an advanced promo copy one day that they let me test spin - after listening to it for like 3 hours they just gave it to me and told me to leave.
- Deftones - Back To School: Pretty sure I downloaded this on Napster or Kazaa when I was like 12 cause my parents wouldn’t let me buy it.
- Incubus - Circles: I’m sorry but if you don’t think morning view is bitchin’ you’re wrong.
- Strike Anywhere - Sunset on 32nd St: How does Thomas make his voice sound so damn GOOD?!?
- Justice - Genesis: First time I heard this I couldn’t believe how huge and gritty their synths sounded
