The Journey
After the dust of the pandemic settled, Coral Springs found themselves at a crossroads: emotionally drained, creatively aching, but quietly resolute. Don’t Turn Off The Lights is the result of that reckoning: a bold, dynamic, and deeply personal record that explores grief, hope, anxiety, chronic illness, and fractured relationships through the lens of high-energy, hook-laden melodic punk.
Recorded across two sessions that bookend the band’s evolution, the record was tracked with Tim van Doorn at Big Dog Recordings and Jasper van den Broek. The result stretches the band’s sound into bolder territory without losing the melodic skatepunk roots that define them.
Yet despite the heaviness, Don’t Turn Off The Lights isn’t bleak; it’s defiant, determined, and full of life. Coral Springs don’t just want to shine; they want to make sure none of us have to face the dark alone.

About Coral Springs
Coral Springs are a melodic punk band from the west coast of the Netherlands, blending the infectious hooks of pop punk with the urgency and grit of skatepunk. Inspired by bands like State Champs, Rise Against, and New Found Glory, they’ve carved out a sound that’s equal parts emotional, energetic, and endlessly catchy.
Since forming, Coral Springs have played everything from local Dutch festivals to international punk staples like Punk Rock Holiday in Slovenia, Book Yer Ane Fest in Scotland, and Manchester Punk Festival in the UK.
Armed with a refreshed sound, a DIY work ethic, and their trademark “expect nothing, give everything” attitude, Coral Springs are back — and brighter than ever.
